When I create a site, I like to have comments turned on for all posts, and off for all pages. Because of this I wrote a script which has now evolved into the WordPress Plugin known as No Page Comment.

By default, WordPress gives you two options: Disable comments and trackbacks by default for all pages and posts or enable them on everything by default. Now, through using No Page Comment, a plugin for WordPress, you can change the default for any post, page or custom post type.
